I delayed this week’s newsletter to highlight Remembrance Day.
With each year that passes the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month takes on a deeper meaning for me and the families of many others.
And the sacrifice we remember today is modern.
In addition to paying our respects to those of past generations, we feel the pain when brothers and sisters leave us on the battlefield or after they return home.
So today, if you know a veteran, the parents or family or a veteran, pick up the phone or send a message thanking them for their service.
It’s a simple gesture that will make their day.
And although a sombre day for reflection, remember that veterans are also building exciting futures that are changing the game in their chosen industries.
BenchOnRekon LeadershipWarriorU, TacMed, The Tie CollectiveKillKaptureSkilled Athlete, WithYouWithMe, SoldierOn and many others are examples of veterans unleashing critical thinking, resilience and adaptability, all learned in uniform, to create value.
This is one silver lining to a difficult day.

Thanks for your attention and for taking time to reflect today. See you next week.
